dc.description.abstract |
Uganda has expressed its intention to join PASET and contribute to Rsif. There are eight competitively selected Ugandan Rsif funded PhD students (50% women) in five thematic areas in eight different African host universities.
Makerere University, a competitively selected Rsif African host university in food security and agribusiness, admitted its first cohort of Rsif funded students in 2022. The PhD programme in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology at Makerere Regional Centre for Crop Improvement (MaRCCi) is hosting 10 Rsif PhD students from seven nationalities (40% women). |
