dc.description.abstract |
Senegal is a founding member of PASET and contributed USD 2 million to Rsif in 2020. There are 15 competitively selected Senegalese active Rsif PhD students (53% women) in five thematic areas in five different African Host Universities.
University of Gaston Berger was competitively selected as an Rsif African Host University in ICT, including artificial intelligence and data science in 2017. The PhD programme in Computer Science at the African Center of Excellence (MITIC) is hosting 17 Rsif PhD scholars (41% women) from eight African nationalities. There is one Rsif alumni who graduated from UGB and 14 journal publications by Rsif UGB students so far. |
